The Danish eSports organization is the first team to win four CS:GO majors. They’re also the first Counter-Strike squad to win three straight major championships.

League of Legends Midseason Invitational
Asia’s most popular eSport is League of Legends (LoL). The game, many compare to football, has leagues in China and South Korea.
The League of Legends Midseason Invitational is a battle between the Chinese league and the South Korean league. It starts in July.
China calls its group of LoL eSports teams the League of Legends Pro League (LPL). South Korea’s LoL league is League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK).
LPL participating teams are JD Gaming, Top Esports, FunPlus Phoenix, and Invictus Gaming. Teams from LCK who will participate are SK Telecom T1, Gen.G, DragonX, and Damwon Gaming.
League of Legends bettors expect FunPlus to battle T1 in the championship. SK Telecom T1 ranks second behind European LoL power G2 Esports.
FunPlus Phoenix beat G2 Esports at last year’s LoL World Championships. For more info on the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational, check out the site.
2020 Overwatch League
The Overwatch League is ongoing. Your sports betting bookie should offer eSports wagering on Overwatch League matches.
Most matches take place in North America. Bettors can watch events on Youtube Gaming.
Overwatch doesn’t end until September 26. Overwatch matches will provide betting action entertainment until then. Check out the Overwatch League site if you want more info.
Don’t forget smaller tournaments and summer leagues
There are also plenty of smaller tournaments throughout the summer.
Both the LoL Pro League in China and League of Legends Champions Korea start their summertime competitions in June or July.
Check esportscalendar.com for a weekly list of upcoming events. You can write down the games you wish to bet. Then, check the sportsbook and make sure they offer eSports betting.
